Why these weights? User votes carry the heaviest weight because practitioners using the tool day-to-day are closest to ground truth. ProcureScore analyst review provides independent rigour as a check on hype. Vendor self-assessment is included for transparency but weighted lowest because of inherent self-reporting bias.

Reality Gap. When the vendor self-score is significantly higher than what users experience, we flag it as a transparency signal. A gap of +1.0 or more typically indicates marketing claims outpacing real-world capability.
