Pivot, founded in 2023 by French fintech veterans Marc-Antoine Lacroix, Romain Libeau, and Estelle Giuly, positions itself as an enterprise AI operating system built from the system of record up — managing the complete procurement lifecycle from sourcing and approvals through to invoicing, payments, budgets, and reporting on a single platform. The round attracted participation from procurement industry veterans, including the former Global VP Sales at Ariba and the founder of EcoVadis, alongside existing investors Hedosophia, Visionaries Club, and Emblem. The oversubscribed nature of the raise signals strong institutional conviction in the agentic procurement category.
Pivot currently processes $3 billion in invoices annually for customers, including DoorDash, Lemonade, and Flix, and operates in more than 25 countries. DoorDash selected Pivot to support intake and vendor onboarding workflows for its European entity, Wolt, citing flexibility and speed of deployment within an existing technology environment. The platform maintains ERP data integrity while providing finance teams with real-time visibility into committed spend before it becomes financial exposure.
The ProcureScore View
Pivot's Series B is significant beyond the headline number. The investor composition, domain veterans from Ariba and EcoVadis alongside Forestay and Notion Capital, signals that institutional money is now moving decisively toward the agentic intake and orchestration category, not legacy suite vendors. This mirrors the pattern seen in Coupa's acquisition of Tonkean this week, where orchestration capability is emerging as the defining battleground in enterprise procurement technology.
